サンコウチョウ in ボタニックガーデン Nov 2020

Amur Paradise Flycatcher in Singapore Botanic Gardens(World heritage,Singapore)July 2020

Attached picture is female paradise flycatcher, it has some difference from Japanese flycatcher (eg not has blue eyeline).Especially, male has all white. But, it is so hard to arrive in Singapore, because their tail is too long and slow flying. Raptor catch easy. Male is very very popular among Singapore birder, it gathered over 50 persons to find the male. This is annual event.

ここ数日ボタニックガーデンにサンコウチョウが出ているとの情報を得、本日夕方探しに行きました。午前中の喧騒はどこへやら、人はまばらで鳥の声もあまり聞こえません。少々不安になっていたところ、ヒーリングガーデンの奥まったところの一角に、いました！しかも二羽！！ちょうど餌を捕っているようでヒラヒラとよく動きます( ;∀;)それでもなんとか全身を撮ることができました～！かわいい！

帰り道、大きなオオトカゲが木登りをしているところにも遭遇。。。このすぐ近くに野生のニワトリ親子もいました。え、食べられちゃう？？？と思ったのですがどうやら住み分けしているようでお互い眼中にないようにスルーしていました。
